Colorado quarterback “Shedeur Sanders” most recent post feeds Raiders rumors even further.
The regular season for Colorado football is complete, and Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback, is among the best in the nation. He completed 74.2% of his passes for 3,926 yards and 35 touchdowns.
He is most likely to be the first quarterback chosen in the NFL Draft in 2025. Sanders appears to have his sights set on one team, even though entering rookies have little control over where they play. According to Tankathon, the Las Vegas Raiders presently own the second overall choice in the draft, and Sanders has been teasing the team for some time.
Since Colorado has yet to learn who their Alamo Bowl opponent would be, it is unclear why he would be in Las Vegas. He may simply have a connection to the city because he appears to visit it frequently. That won’t stop the Raiders from rumors that he wants to be drafted, but it’s unclear if they share that interest.
Should Deion and Shedeur Sanders Join Forces to Attack the Raiders?
As head coach, Deion, the father of Shedeur Sanders, has revitalized the Colorado football team. The program had one winning season since 2005 before Sanders took over as head coach, but it is currently 9-3 in his second season.
The Raiders need a quarterback badly, regardless of who they choose in the draft. Given that he is regarded as pro-ready and an excellent pocket passer, Sanders is intriguing. But he lacks the athleticism that many quarterbacks selected in the top 10 possess.
Sanders may be the only quarterback the Raiders are interested in because this is regarded as a weaker quarterback class. They cannot afford to use a backup quarterback for the 2025 campaign. Even if they don’t think Sanders would be the first quarterback selected in a subsequent draft class, that may still bring them to him. His apparent sincere desire to perform in Las Vegas must undoubtedly be alluring.
