ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE HEADCOACH SETS A NEW RECORD!!! JUST NOW!!!: “Crimson Tide’ Kalen Deboer Makes History as First SEC Coach to Feature And Evolve Alabama’s Tradition With The Most…Read More…

Kalen DeBoer, who became the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide in January 2024 following Nick Saban’s retirement, has made significant strides in his inaugural season. Under his leadership, Alabama achieved a 9–4 record, marking the first time since 2007 that the team did not secure at least 10 wins in a season.

One of the most notable victories during DeBoer’s first year was a commanding 42–17 win against long-time rivals LSU in Baton Rouge. This victory was particularly significant as it broke a 34-year streak, achieving a feat that even former coach Nick Saban hadn’t accomplished.

Despite the challenges, DeBoer’s performance has been commendable. Analysts have given him a B+ grade for his first season, noting that while the 9–4 record was Alabama’s worst since the early days of the Saban era, DeBoer still had one of the best inaugural seasons of any coach in the program’s history. His recruiting efforts, both at the high school level and through the transfer portal, have set up the Crimson Tide for potential success in 2025 and beyond.

Prior to joining Alabama, DeBoer had an impressive coaching record, boasting a 104–12 overall record over nine seasons, including a 25–3 record with the Washington Huskies. In 2023, he led Washington to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game and secured the Pac-12 Championship.

As DeBoer continues to lead the Crimson Tide, fans and analysts alike are eager to see how he will build upon the team’s storied tradition and drive them toward future successes.
