We Sadly Have to Say Goodbye to Kevin Concepcion — A Legend of Texas A&M

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Concepcion, one of Texas A&M’s most beloved and enduring symbols. A legendary figure in the university’s rich tapestry of history, Kevin’s influence reached far beyond the field, the classroom, or the campus. He was more than just a name; he was an embodiment of the Aggie spirit.

For decades, Kevin Concepcion stood as a proud representative of what Texas A&M is all about — integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect, and excellence. His presence, whether during game days, alumni gatherings, or quiet moments mentoring students, left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him.

Kevin’s journey with Texas A&M began like many others — as a student filled with passion and pride — but it was the way he chose to give back, to lead, and to serve that elevated him into the realm of legend. Whether it was his tireless support of Aggie athletics, his role in building community spirit, or his consistent presence as a mentor and friend, Kevin always gave his all. He wasn’t just part of Texas A&M — he was Texas A&M.

His legacy will live on in the traditions he upheld, the lives he touched, and the memories he helped create. The Aggie community mourns this tremendous loss, but we also celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the standard he set for all Aggies to follow.
