In a significant development for college football, Kalen DeBoer has been appointed as the new head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide, succeeding the legendary Nick Saban. DeBoer’s coaching career is distinguished by consistent success across various programs. At the University of Washington, he achieved a 25-3 record over two seasons, including a 14-1 finish and a Pac-12 Championship in 2023. Prior to his tenure at Washington, DeBoer served as head coach at Fresno State, where he compiled a 12-6 record over two seasons. His coaching journey began at his alma mater, the University of Sioux Falls, where he led the team to a 67-3 record and secured three NAIA national championships.
