The Green Bay Packers are working hard to get ready for Sunday Night Football’s crucial game against the Seattle Seahawks, who lead the NFC West. After their 34-31 loss to the Detroit Lions almost eliminated them from winning the NFC North, the Packers, now 9-4, are attempting to better their Wild Card standing. In their division, the 8-5 Seahawks are one game ahead of the 7-6 Los Angeles Rams.

Weekly roster adjustments are a regular occurrence for NFL teams. Their practice squads are often affected by the majority of these minor adjustments. That was the situation today when a well-known figure was returned by the Packers.

Green Bay added offensive guard Michael Jordan to their practice squad, according to the Packers’ website. In 2023, Jordan was a member of the Packers’ practice squad. He did, however, start 11 games for the New England Patriots over the most of this season. On December 3, he was set free.

The Green Bay Packers cut T. Spencer Rolland off the practice squad and added offensive lineman Michael Jordan. General Manager Brian Gutekunst made the announcement on Monday.

Jordan was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft before joining Green Bay in 2023. He participated in 27 games over his two seasons with the Bengals, 19 of which were starts.

Jordan joined the Carolina Panthers in 2021 after getting cut after training camp. During his two seasons there, he made 28 appearances, 10 of which were starts.

In 2023, Jordan was cut by the Panthers following training camp. The Packers quickly signed him, and he spent the entire season on their practice squad.

Jordan chose free agency and chose to join the Patriots rather than re-sign with Green Bay. He was signed to their practice squad and regularly promoted for games, despite not making their 53-man roster. He has made a career-high 11 starts this season.
